These terms apply to your use of Deskshift and to anything you buy through this website. By using the service you agree to them. They are short and written in plain language.
Deskshift is a trading name of MDB Next, a sole trader based in the Netherlands, registered with the Netherlands Chamber of Commerce under number 42063101. MDB Next (“we” or “Deskshift”) offers an online self-intake through this website that gives you a view of your working situation, plus directions and a plan. You can reach us at plan@deskshift.pro.
Deskshift is a tool for reflection and orientation. The insights, directions and plans are generated partly with AI, from your own answers.
Deskshift is not advice. What comes out is a set of suggestions and general information. It is expressly not professional career, medical, psychological, legal or financial advice, and it is no substitute for a conversation with a qualified professional. What you do with it, and the choices you make, remain yours.
Because the output is generated partly by AI, it can be incomplete or wrong. Always weigh it against your own judgement and what you know about your situation.
The intake and the first insight are free. A paid agreement comes into being at the moment you complete the payment that unlocks the three directions and the plan. It is a one-off purchase: no subscription, no automatic renewal.
The price is shown on the page before you pay and is charged once. Payment runs through our payment provider. We neither receive nor store card or account details.
This is digital content that becomes available on your screen straight after payment. You can also have your report and plan emailed to your own address. Because the content is kept locally on your device, we recommend you keep that email or save the plan as a pdf.
For digital content delivered immediately, the statutory 14-day right to cancel falls away once delivery has begun with your express consent. By opening your directions and plan after payment you agree to immediate delivery and acknowledge that you lose that right to cancel.
A satisfaction arrangement anyway. We want you to get something out of Deskshift. If you are not happy within 14 days of buying, email plan@deskshift.pro within that period with a short explanation. We will in principle refund what you paid. This goodwill arrangement sits on top of your statutory rights, and we may withdraw it in cases of obvious abuse.
We do our best to deliver a careful, useful service, but we do not guarantee any particular result. Career choices depend on many things outside our control.
None of these limits excludes liability that cannot be excluded under mandatory law, such as liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for intent or reckless conduct. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
You use Deskshift for yourself and answer truthfully. You will not misuse it, which includes automated or excessive use, attempts to disrupt the service, or use that breaks the law. Where there is misuse we may limit or refuse access.
The website, the design, the copy and the structure of the intake are ours. The results built from your answers are yours to use freely for yourself. You may not copy, resell or reproduce the service itself.
How we handle your data is set out in our privacy notice, which forms part of these terms.
We may change these terms. The version that applies to your purchase is the one in force when you entered into the agreement. The date at the top marks the latest version.
These terms and any agreement under them are governed by the law of the Netherlands, where we are established. Disputes go to the competent court in the Netherlands, unless mandatory law points to another court. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory rules of the country you live in, and you may also bring proceedings in the courts of that country. If you have a complaint, email plan@deskshift.pro first; we would rather sort it out together.
These terms are also published in Dutch at deskshift.pro/terms. If the two versions differ, the Dutch version prevails.
